My name is Sharon, the breeder behind A1 Pomskies located in Orange, CA. I am a small, at-home breeder that loves her dogs and wants to give the same joy of owning a Pomsky to others. I specialize in mini pomskies. I believe in ethical breeding so that the pomskies are born with the best chance of living a long, healthy, and happy life. I have only one litter at a time to give the maximum attention and care for their well being. Under 24 hour watch and care, the pups are raised as one of my own. Brookside Pomsky

Our family lives on a small farm in Plymouth, Utah. Plymouth is a small town near the Idaho/Utah state border. We're surrounded with farms and ranches. We love the country life. We think it's heaven on earth.

We come from a big family of dog breeders. My mom has been breeding long before I started. She taught me everything I know. Now that my husband and I are settled down on our little farm, we have the wonderful opportunity of being introduced to the Pomsky breed; we absolutely fell in love with Pomskies!

We are not a mega breeder or "puppy mill".  We take great pride in owning just a few dogs. Our dogs have good temperament; they're smart, sweet, kind, lovable and rare. They enjoy a wonderful life without "kennels" here on our little farm.

Meet the owners Suzanne and Rami:

Hi, my name is Suzanne Yordy. I am a mother of three, step mother to one and Nanna to one. I am from Ontario Canada and relocated to Pahrump Nevada in 2001. I used to breed Rottweilers and ended that career in 2010 to focus on my daycare. I bought my first Pomsky in February 2020 and fell in love. I started researching the breed and studied all aspects of breeding Pomskies. I have purchased all my Pomskies from two reputable breeders thus far in the Pomsky community. They have mentored me through this journey. I am excited to be involved in breeding top quality puppies.

How did you become a breeder?
My venture with Pomskies is for the love of the breed and the interest of producing Pomskies with top quality genetics. Pomskies have proven to be wonderful companions in my life, and it is a privilege to share that love and friendship with others.

Rami Sahar
After losing my dog several years ago to a congenital liver shunt, I thought my flame to dog ownership had been put out for good. We tried everything from stem cell treatment to homeopathic medicine to possibly cure my little girl who was only 6 years of age. We even looked into the possibility of a liver transplant but this type of procedure has not been practiced on canines yet. Anyone reading this who is a dog lover knows that your dog is your family member and you would do just about anything for them. A few years later I realized I was ready for another puppy in my life.

This time I would do all the research I possibly could to minimize the possibility of any congenital disease in the puppy I choose. I searched the entire country and reached out to almost every pomsky breeder in the nation. I found that many didn't answer their phones and preferred communication by messenger or text while others never returned phone calls. The ones I did talk to were very short with me over the phone, didn't like to answer too many questions, didn't truly care as to what traits I was looking for in my pomsky and were over all not very personable.

When I met Suzanne, I immediately heard that I was talking to someone heartfelt, patient and listened to me like a human being - not like a potential money deal. Suzanne spent over an hour on the phone with me answering a million questions. She sent me embark DNA test results for the parents of the available puppies, photos, videos and even video conferenced me to show me her puppies which in turn made lower all my defenses and fears that otherwise would have questioned her legitimacy.

I ended up adopting not one but two Pomskies from Suzanne! We became friends, kept in touch, shared photos of the puppies as they started growing up and eventually and by chance I became a partner in Carrousel Pomskies. My love and passion for this breed has turned into a fun opportunity to share this amazing breeder with other families across the country who are looking for an incredibly loved pomsky bred from the best pedigree!

What makes your breeding program special?
At Carrousel Pomskies, we breed excellent companions. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure - every breeding decision is made accordingly. We DNA test our Sire and Dames to ensure we are only breeding puppies that have been cleared of over 200+ genetic disorders. We are also constantly improving our breeding program and work closely within the breeding community to do so.

Pomsky Acres strives to breed healthy puppies and place them in forever homes.  Being a small breeder... allows more time for nurturing each puppy from birth until they start their journey with you and your family. Pomsky Northerns

Pomsky Northerns is owned and managed by Marsh Morford. His daughter, Evelyn, manages the media and assists with communications, and the dogs are cared for by a few of Marsh's other children. The Morfords live on a hobby homestead in Utah Valley, where they garden and care for many kinds of animals in an effort to be self-supporting. Dogs have been a big part of the Morford family since they began dog sledding in 2006. Those first two Siberian Huskies became 8 dogsled teams that provide tours near Park City, Utah, during the winter months.

Many know and love Heather and Alma DeMille, the founders of Pomsky Northerns. Both have a history of breeding and raising dogs and other animals, and were able to participate in the development of the Pomsky (Arctic Spitz) breed before fully transferring ownership and management of Pomsky Northerns to the Morfords in 2020.

Vaca Valley Pomskies

We are a family of 5 that started this journey over 4 years ago, by waiting for 1.5+years for our very own Pomsky. It seemed so absurd to us to have to wait that long, so we worked with our breeder and made arrangments to breed our girl Sierra "just a couple of times". That was until we got to experience first-hand, giving the same joy we had when we brought our Pomsky home, to our new parents, thus family hobby breeders were born! We strive to be one of the best Pomsky breeders around by raising all of our dogs and puppies in our temperature controlled home and under our feet with the normal happenings that families have. We also strive to be the front runners in Generational breeding as this is what is required to get a breed AKC recognized and we work VERY diligently at this! We are currently working on our 4th Generation!

We live a peaceful 5-acre ranch, in which we call our sanctuary, away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city and a safe haven for our children and animals to grow and play. All of our "big" dogs get to have supervised free roam for playtime as well as a protected enclosure (coyotes are out here) so that they can be inside or outside at free will. All of our kids are hands on with our Pomskies from breeding, birthing, raising, caring for, and sending home as well as training sessions for our own dogs/puppies which make for a well-rounded and completely socialized puppy! We spare NO expenses when it comes to all of our furbabies and they live quite the pampered pets life, but with the ability to also play and getting dirty...which they sure do!!! We are told on a regular basis that our animals live better than most people do!!! We are a little different than other breeders as we do NOT accept every applicant that contacts us. We do VERY intense and thorough background checks and are very selective as this protects our "family first" motto to help ensure that we are welcoming the right people into our family and home, because we ARE a Pomsky family until death do us part! This is also why we have a private parents page to conversate with one another, as we also hold privacy concerns for our parents and will never announce who they are!

Our process starts off with every interested potential parents needing to send us their email address so we can send them a Puppy Application. After we have selected parents for the current litter, they will then need to fill out and return their Puppy Deposit Contract with notarized signatures via certified mail along with their nonrefundable $500.00 deposit. The deposit is deducted from the full purchase price which runs $2500.00-$4000.00 depending on eyes, mask, markings, colorings, and coat which are typically priced at 5 weeks of age. Our puppies are typically all sold before they are born with the possibility of 1 or 2 available to the public if we/breeders we work with, do not keep any. At 5-6 weeks of age we start letting parents to select their puppies in the order that their deposits are received by us via certified mail ( 24-hour time limit for each family to select their puppy).

At 8 weeks old they will be ready for their new families and they will receive their Veterinarian check up, shots, 4th dose of deworming, DNA certificate, and for those who are flying home health certificates. At this time, all puppies are sold as pets only and will come with a 2-year health guarantee as well as a spay/neuter contract.
