Best Dog Crate For The Pomsky Breed
In this blog we are giving you a couple options for the best dog crate for the Pomsky breed.
Dog crates are great for potty training a new puppy, transporting your pup, and limiting access to your house while the Pomsky learns the house rules. Using a crate also prevents your Pomskies from getting into trouble when you are busy and can't supervise directly. Crate training provides a number of benefits to owners.
These are the dog crate that were recommended by Pomsky owners and breeders so you know these recommendations are Pomsky tested and Pomsky approved.

Amazon Basics - Dog Crate
Amazon Basics Dog Crate is a good simplistic option for a Pomky dog crate. I used this one with my puppies (though I didn't use it for long because they didn't need it). This one was super easy to set up, it easily folds for travel and was lightweight and easy to take from place to place.

MidWest Homes for Pets - iCrate
The MidWest iCrate Starter Kit is another good option for a Pomsky crate because it comes with a full package of Pomsky crating material including a 2 door iCrate, 1 dog bed, 1 crate cover, and 2 pet bowls that affix to the dog crate. This is all in one package.

Casual Home - Wooden Pet Crate
If you don't like the look of the metal crates, I recommend the Wooden Pet Crates. These are really only needed if you don't like the metal crates. These are more homy and look better than the metal crates, though they are a little more expensive.
Here is Casual Home's description: Our solid wood Pet Crate End Table provides a cozy, private spot for your pet to sleep and relax. Strong lockable gate door allows for peace of mind when you're away from home. Rich finish/color options allow you to incorporate it with your other home furnishings.
Amazon Basics - Soft-Sided Pet Travel Carrier
For travel, I recommend the Amazon Basics Soft-Sided Pet Travel Carrier. This one is great for taking your Pomsky to and from the vet's office if they need to be crated.

North States Pet - Portable Pet Gate
Don't want to crate your pup but want to keep them out of a room (or keep them in one room)? I recommend the Portable Pet Gate. I use this in my house, I use this on my deck so my dogs can hang outside with me on the deck but I block off the stairs so they can't leave the deck and runoff. If you need to keep your pup in one room, or you want to keep them out of a room, check out the portable pet gates.
Here is North States Pet's description: The paws portable Petgate is a quick position, 23 inch high gate that will keep your pet safe and secure while teaching him boundaries throughout the house.
