A pomsky is a cross breed between a female Siberian husky and a male Pomeranian, often called a “Pomeranian Husky”.

Is this a new thing?
Pomskies are very new; in fact, the first generation of pomskies is still alive today. Pomskies were first bred in the early 2010’s and quickly became an overnight sensation in 2013, having since become one of the most popular breeds in the United States.
What does a pomsky look like?
That depends on the type of Pomeranian husky mix, but in most cases, the pomsky has distinguished husky features with a soft, fluffy and silky coat and the small stature of a Pomeranian.
Pomeranian mixed with a husky, how is that possible?
All pomskies are bred from a female Siberian husky and a male Pomeranian using artificial insemination.
Natural breeding is not possible due to the size difference between a Pomeranian and a husky; it would be ineffective and dangerous.
An artificial insemination is the safest method and is much more comfortable for both the dam and sire.
